We provide our customers with the following technical support services:

  • Assist the customer to conduct earth station verification tests
  • Provide space segment transmission parameters, technical suggestions, assist the customer to make their transmission plan and link budget calculation to our customer for operational use on the APSTAR satellite network.
  • Conduct customer service line-up tests.
  • Assist the customer to plan their design of satellite broadcast or communication systems.
  • Provide consultation on the selection of the customer's earth station, as well as recommendations for RF equipment and VSAT antenna terminals.
  • Provide free space segment resources and assist the user to conduct equipment testing, experiments and system demonstrations.
  • Provide both hardcopy and online forecasts of sun outage.
  • Provide the customer with monthly satellite operation and health status reports.
  • Assist the customer with any glitches or abnormalities in their satellite network and to conduct the necessary analyses to restore back to normal operation.
  • In the case of terrestrial or spatial interference that might cause service disruption, to conduct a prompt investigation into the origin of the interference and restore normal service.
  • Use of our powerful teleport, provide uplink transmission services and active support with the customer's traffic migration, frequency allocation, network adjustment etc.
  • Other customer support requests.
