Our APSTAR satellites fleet is build for high reliability and excellent performance, as well as providing broad service-area coverage. Currently, APT provides C-band and Ku-band transponder service to meet the needs and demands of our customer base. Our service coverage has extended now to Asia, Oceania, the South Pacific and Hawaii.

Our high quality transponder service can be tailored to the needs of our customers to develop their specialized telecommunication business, such as TV program broadcasting, DTH, news gathering, corporate VSAT networks, distance learning, data broadcasting, internet backbone, broadband Internet access, cellular backhaul, etc.

We offer both Long-term and Occasional Transponder Service use.

Long-term Transponder Service Use:

Long-term Transponder Service Use refers to fixed bandwidth usage for 24 hours a day, with a minimum leasing period of one year. Examples of such use include TV broadcasting, corporate VSAT networks etc.

Occasional Transponder Service Use:

Occasional Transponder Service Use refers to usage of transponder bandwidth according to service demand or in regular time intervals during the day. Examples of such use include satellite news gathering, emergency communication etc.

For Occasional Transponder Service Use, customers may choose a specific service sub-plan according to their usage needs:

• By Random Use - The customer don't have to set specific time and duration of satellite transponder bandwidth usage for each use;
• By package Use - The customer makes an agreement with APT to use satellite transponder bandwidth for an amount of duration, but without specifying the time for each use.
• By Interval Use - The customer sets satellite transponder bandwidth usage in fixed intervals within an agreed period of time
