The Board of Directors (the 'Board') of APT Satellite Holdings Limited (the 'Company') hereby announces that Mr. Ho Siaw Hong resigned as alternate director of Mr. Lim Toon and Mr. Wong Hung Khim, directors of the Company, with effect from 8th July, 1999. The Board would like to thank Mr. Ho Siaw Hong and express its appreciation for his contribution and services to the Company.

The Board also announces that Ms. Loh Yim Kew was appointed as alternate director of Mr. Lim Toon and Mr. Wong Hung Khim, directors of the Company, with effect from 8th July, 1999. The Company warmly welcome Ms. Loh Yim Kew joining the Board.
