CHANGE OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors (the "Board") of APT Satellite Holdings Limited (the "Company") hereby announces that Mr. Li Bao Ming and Mr. Hou Zheng resigned as non-executive directors of the Company with effect from 23 June 1998. The Board would like to thank Mr. Li Bao Ming and Mr. Hou Zheng and express its appreciation for their contribution and services to the Company.

The Board also announces that Mr. Wu Zhen Mu and Mr. Liang Wen Hao were appointed as the non-executive directors of the Company with effect from 23 June 1998. The Company warmly welcome Mr. Wu Zhen Mu and Mr. Liang Wen Hao joining the Board of the Company.
